Overview

CPE GCS provides world-class, affordable, and sustainable ground combat equipment to U.S. Army Soldiers and Joint Warfighters. CPE GCS is responsible for the total life cycle management of the Army’s ground combat systems, ensuring that Soldiers receive relevant, effective, and sustainable equipment. This includes overseeing Product Management Offices and Directorates that manage the development, acquisition, fielding, and sustainment of armored vehicles, combat platforms, and related systems. The office focuses on delivering affordable and technologically advanced solutions to maintain battlefield superiority.

The Abrams Main Battle Tank is the most lethal, protected tank in the world. Abrams M1E3 modernization retains current performance requirements while also focusing on the integration of new and developing technologies to improve system and crew efficiency.

XM30
(PM XM30)

XM30 will serve as the U.S. Army’s infantry fighting vehicle tasked to maneuver and operate as part of a Joint combined arms team for the purpose of creating an advantageous position, relative to the enemy, to deliver a decisive strike while also controlling maneuver robotics and semi-autonomous systems. XM30 will replace the Bradley Fighting Vehicle.

PM MAV is responsible for the total life-cycle management of the core mechanized vehicle fleet that constitutes the majority of an Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT). PM MAV ensures that the ABCT is equipped with survivable and more capable vehicles that can maneuver at the pace of modern combat operations.

Stryker Brigade Combat Team
(PM SBCT)

PM SBCT provide a medium-weight force capable of rapid operational mobility to disrupt or destroy enemy military forces, to control land areas including populations and resources, and to conduct combat operations. The main purpose of the eight-wheeled Stryker family of vehicles is to enable the delivery, over long distances, of 108 infantry squads to the battle and remain in a supporting role. The focus of a Stryker Brigade is its infantry – the vehicle remains an enabler of the squads.
